About

Small team.
Long game.

Adamant Media is a small, senior web team based near St. Louis. We've designed, built and cared for websites and applications since 2009, and some of our client relationships go back nearly two decades.

Our story

Built on staying power.

Adamant means unbreakable. It's how we try to build, and how we try to show up for the people we work with.

We started in 2009, building websites for businesses that needed someone they could trust with them. Since then the web has changed again and again: mobile, the cloud, new platforms, accessibility laws and now AI. We've changed with it, picking up new tools and keeping the ones that earn their place.

What hasn't changed is how we work. We listen first, choose the right tool for the job, build it properly and stick around after launch. That's why many of our clients have been with us for years, and why most of our new work comes from people they've sent our way.

Adam Michael Roach

President + Founder

A lifelong tech lover who turns ideas into products people can actually use, like websites and apps. First-rate tinkerer, woodworker and disability rights advocate.

Adam has been taking things apart and putting them back together since he was a kid. That curiosity led to more late nights than he can count, figuring out how things work. He got his start in the DOS days on a 286, and from his very first modem on he's had a front-row seat to the growth of the web, learning and evolving right along with it.

As a full-stack developer, Adam brings over two decades of front-end and back-end design and development experience. He's worked with clients all over the world on projects large and small, from complete website builds and app development to security and accessibility. These days you'll find him providing solutions for clients, contributing to open source projects and building new concepts with his partners. He's a big fan of his Apple gear, and just as happy working in Linux.

His portfolio spans hundreds of projects: websites, web applications and social media marketing tools for organizations including the City of St. Louis, SPX Technologies, Throttlenet, Another Reality Studios, Architerra, Energizer and Richard Rawlings, in industries from communications and travel destinations to construction and engineering.

A low-key guy at heart, when he's not working on the next idea he's tinkering in his woodworking shop, cooking, watching movies, camping, fishing, advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, or simply spending time with his family.

How we work

What you can count on.

A small team means fewer handoffs, faster answers and people who actually know your project.

  • 01

    Partners, not vendors

We think about your goals for the next five years, not just the next invoice.

  • 02

    Senior people, start to finish

The people you meet are the people who design, build and support your project.

  • 03

    Plain talk

Clear scopes, honest timelines and straight answers, even when the answer is "you don't need that."

  • 04

    Built to last

Clean, documented, maintainable work that doesn't fall apart when someone else touches it.

  • 05

    Accessible by default

We design and build so everyone can use what we make, and we advocate for it on every project.

  • 06

    AI with judgment

We use AI to move faster and test harder, with experienced people reviewing everything that ships.

We're in it for the long haul.

Most of our work comes from long-time clients and the people they refer. We earn that by answering the phone, telling the truth and caring about your site after launch as much as before it.
